- 2 Oranges (संतरे )
- 1/2 Cup Sugar (शक्कर )
- 4 Tsp Corn Flour (कॉर्न फ़्लावर )
- 4 Inch Ginger (अदरक )
- 6 Tsp Granulated Sugar (दानेदार शक्कर )
1 Make a juice from Oranges . In a pan , at medium flame , take sugar . Keep on stirring , caramelise and make a smooth consistent brown liquid .It should be free flowing Add 4 Tsp water .
2 Now add 1 1/2 cup orange juice . stir well . Add corn flour and mix it . Keep stirring . Add grated ginger . Simmer for 5 mins .Let it be half of actual amount . Little thick .
3 Now you can use the silicon mould and pour the liquid in the mould and freeze it for 2-3 Hours . Take out Candies and sprinkle granulates sugar on the candies . Or you can simply spread on some flat pot and freeze and cut it in square size . Cover with granulated sugar .
4 You can also use the orange -ginger syrup for making a hot and cold tea . For this no need to add corn flour . You can store the syrup in glass jar for a months . when needed simply add 3 Tsp of the syrup in hot water to make a Hot Orange-Ginger Tea . And add 3 Tsp of orange-ginger syrup to normal water ,mix it . Add some ice cubes cold Orange-Ginger Tea is ready .
