Here I am presenting a very simple easy to make homemade , healthy beetroot cake . I have given 3 ways of decorating cake . Mawa beetroot cake is simple yet very delicious specially when you don’t like icing . So mawa is the other option if you got bored with the icing velvet cake .

- 1 cup Plain flour (Maida)
- 1/2 cup Full Cream Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tsp Salt / Vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tsp Coco powder
- 1/2 medium size Beetroot
For Decoration :
- Whipping Cream
- 4 Tsp Mawa
- 3 Tsp Sugar
- Vanilla essence
- Sugar Sprinkles
1 Peel the beetroot and cut it in cube size . In a small Saucepan , cook beetroot in water . When cooked completely , grind it and make a smooth paste .
2 Now in one Bowl , take sugar , yogurt , oil ,plain flour ,baking powder , baking soda , coco powder , salt , and milk . Mix all the ingredient . Whisk it properly . Beat to make a smooth consistency .
3 Now grease the tin mold and pour the cake paste .Adjust and set it . Preheat the pan for 5 mins and then bake the cake for 40 mins at medium flame .
4 For mawa dressing , add whipping cream , sugar , 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and mawa . Beat it . And then apply on the cake . Decorate your cake as you like .
5 For cupcake bake the cake in cup for 5 mins in conventional microwave at combination mode . Cupcake is ready in 5 mins .
