Vada Pav or Batata Vada is very famous street food in Mumbai (India) or Pune . The dry garlic chutney or vada pav chutney also called Lasun chutney or Lasun khobra chutney is very famous Maharastrian dish . People are also eating this chutney with Roti ,Chapati or Bhakari . You can store this at room temperature for 5 -8 days at dry cold weather or refrigerate for a month .
Lasun ,Coconut and red chilli are the main ingredient of the dish .
I have use the Kashmiri red chilli powder to give it a perfect red look . You can also use the chilli flakes or any other red chilli as per your convenience or taste . You can also add little sugar or coriander or cumin seed .

- 7-8 Garlic
- Little Oil
- 2-3 Tbsp Peanuts
- 1 Tsp Fennel seed (Saunf)
- 2 Tsp Coconut (grated)
- 2 Tsp Sesame seed
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- some Bhujiya sev (optional)
1In a small pan, take some oil and roast the garlic and peanuts . Add funnel seed ,grated coconut , sesame seeds .
2 Roast all the ingredients for 2 mins .
Add salt, kashmiri red chilli powder and bhujiya sev .
3 grind coarsely . Serve with batata vada ( vada pav) or chapati or roti .
