Carrot halwa recipe (Gajar ka halwa), How to make carrot halwa i

Gajar Ka halwa or Carrot Halwa recipe is the winter dessert made simply with 4 ingredients Gajar, milk, sugar , & mawa(khoya ) .

This is very tasty , delicious , and easy to cook one pot recipe . Mostly cook in winter . I have added the Soth(ginger powder) which is good in winter to keep the body warm . Also helpful for cough .

You can also use the condensed milk instead of milk.


  • 6-7 Medium Size Carrot(Gajar)
  • 3/4 Bowl Sugar
  • 1 Bowl Milk
  • 1/2 Bowl Mawa(Khoya)
  • 10-12 Pistachio (Pista)
  • 10-12 Almond (Badam)
  • 2 Tsp Ghee


1Take 6-7 medium size carrot(gajar) and grate it . Now heat the pan and add 1 Tsp desi ghee . After melting ghee add grated gajar and cook for 5 mins until gajar settle down. Stir it occasionally.

2 Now add milk and let it to cook . Add Khoya (Tawa) .
Add Pista and Badam. Stir it occasionally and let it cook . Halwa is ready.

3Garnish the Halwa with pista and badam also if you like some mawa . Serve it hot or cold as you like .Delicious Gajar ka halwa is ready now.
