This is most common Indian sauce served along with Samosas, Chaat, Sandwiches and Tandoori Chicken or most deep-fried Indian appetisers . There are many indian sauces / Indian Chutneys served in restaurant . Like red ,green , tamarind chutney are very common . This chutneys are very flavourful and enhance the taste of any food .
The secret of the recipe lies in proportion of coriander , green chilli and lemon juice . You can also add mint and ginger but I like to make my green chutney very simple yet delicious . If you want to make your chutney more thicker you can add 1 Tsp roasted peanuts or soaked gram dal . Again I didn’t added to make it simple .  You can store this chutney for 8 days in refrigerator .


  • Bunch of Coriander
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Salt (As per Taste)
  • 1/2 Inch Ginger
  • 1 Tsp Chat Masala
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar (Optional)


1  Take all ingredients in mixture pot and grind it . Add water  .Make a smooth paste . Tangy , chilli milli, spicy Bombay Sandwich Chutney is ready .
