Beetroot Paratha is a vibrant , velvety red coloured paratha . This is superb in look as well as taste . This is a healthy and nutrient red coloured flatbread recipe made with beetroot puree . I have added some spices and herbs to make it more tasty and delicious .

BEETROOT paratha is an ideal morning breakfast recipe which can also be used for afternoon lunch and night dinner . This can be eaten with raita ,yogurt , pickle or any curry .
This recipe is the healthy choice for kids lunch box . Kids will attract with the coloured paratha .
Beetroot is rich source of iron . I added mint and coriander leaves to make it more delicious and digestive .

- 2 Bowl Wheat Flour
- Oil/ Ghee
- 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 medium size Beetroot
- Coriander Leaves
- Amchoor Powder/Chat masala(optional)
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- 1/2 inch Ginger(optional)
1 In a small saucepan, take wheat flour , salt and ajwain . Add 2-3 tsp oil/ghee and mix it well .
2 Now in a mixture grinder , take beetroot ,mint ,coriander leaves and green chilli . Add little water if require and make a smooth paste .
3 Add beetroot paste to the wheat flour and mix it well . Add little water and make a soft dough . Knead it properly and apply oil . Keep the dough aside for 15 mins .
4 Now make a medium size ball of the dough and make paratha . Sprinkle rice/wheat flour as per your convenience . Flip the paratha . Apply ghee when cooked .Serve hot with raita , yogurt , pickle ,green coriander mint chutney or any curry . Perfect for breakfast also can be eat at lunch time and dinner .
